GordonemThomas
Any recommendations for a CPA who is an expert in multi-family properties/residential income? Wisdom of the crowd is appreciated.

Chris S
I use Cathleen Hahn. She has a 12 plex that I know of. Does a lot with real estate investors. Got me a good return last year at least haha
admin
@Chris S That's good to know! She does own rentals and some have love her. Some haven't like her due to various reasons, like personality mix, to conservative, turnover of staff......I think a CPA is like a long relationship just like a property managers. Not everyone will love us.
Ben Persinger
I know a number of CPA's in town and like a lot of things it depends on what level of advice you need. If you have a complicated return Thomas Head and Greisen does a fair bit of fairly complex planning for real estate investors as well as trust and estate planning amongst other things. They have some very knowledgeable folks on staff but will probably cost you a bit more. If your return is a little less complex there are a number of good shops in town. One I have been impressed with is Evelyna Kuhr with Balanced CPA's
